It's official. Gay- and straight-porn personality Jason Sechrest, flanked by gay-porn biggies Caesar and Rod Barry, will be waving to the multitudes from a float in L.A.'s Gay Pride Parade.
"It's not a float, as in Rose Parade," Sechrest clarified for GAYVN, "it's a GM convertible, but still…" Close enough. The float is co-sponsored by Sechrest's award-winning website JasonCurious.com and RentBoy.com. "[Festival organizer] Christopher Street West tells me that we're the only porn float in the parade," Sechrest crowed. "Porn star, scribe, and escort extraordinaire Brandon Baker will be at the wheel," he added.
The parade down West Hollywood's Santa Monica Boulevard begins at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 12.
Sechrest, also host of the weekly "Cocktails With the Stars" at Micky's nightclub in West Hollywood, is turning tonight's event into a pre-party for L.A. Gay Pride weekend. Rascal Video exclusive Brandon Lee is the evening's featured guest. Lee will be interviewed by Sechrest, answer questions from the audience, and autograph photos and give away his movies as part of the festivities. The event is scheduled for tonight, 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
