Kylie Ireland Takes Over Publicity Department at Sin City

Sin City Entertainment has signed AVN Award-winner Kylie Ireland as their new director of publicity, a position that Scott Stein has fulfilled for the last year-and-a-half via his SMS Promotions public relations and marketing firm

"I think we've made some signifcant progress in my time working with Sin City. We won an AVN Award for our Paradise Lost marketing campaign, we had the first ever appearance of a Sin City contract performer going on Stern, we've received both national and international exposure in mainstream media, and people within the adult industry are constantly commenting to me that Sin City's notority and profile have both been raised signifcantly," said Stein. "I'm happy that Sin City has chosen someone as capable as Kylie to handle their pr and I wish her luck."

Ireland of course is very familiar with Sin City Entertainment. Her first starring role and boxcover was for Sin City's Nightcrawlers. She also enjoyed a brief and controversial turn with the company as a contract-performer that ended with an appearance on Judge Judy when Ireland sued in small claims court for breach of contract. Ireland won. "I learned over time that really it was just a misunderstanding between us. I just proved back then that there's no such thing as bad publicity - that was national TV," Ireland quipped.

Ireland, who is still active as a performer in adult, has worked as a porn publicist before. She spent a year at VCA operating as both a contract-performer and publicist. "I got a lot of experience in a short amount of time over there and I really enjoyed it. I come with knowledge of what the girls want a publicist to do."

One of the women Ireland will be promoting is Sin City contract-performer Karina. ""Karina is very enthusiastic about her job and in doing extra promotion and I am pleased to be working with girls who take this industry and their careers seriously while still having a good time," noted Ireland.

Ireland is also looking forward to represent Mayhem's Skeeter Kerkove. "I think it's going to be fun. Skeeter is like a wind-up toy. You wind him up, you set him down, and you let him go. He does his own thing - you just have to aim him in the right direction and he'll promote himself to the ends of the earth," she said.

In other news regarding Stein, even though he's launching his own company in the mainstream world, his SMS Promotions company still represents Videoteam and is still taking on other adult clients. Stein can be reached at (310)837-5069.
