Kudéta Opens U.S. Office; Hires Amy Lew

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif.—Belgian-based content licensor Kudéta has opened up a new U.S. office and hired a veteran adult industry member to helm its U.S.-based operations.

Amy Lew, a seven-year industry member, joins the Kudéta team as the company’s managing partner in charge of content acquisition within the U.S. Lew came to the company from Pulse Distribution where she served as its vice president of content and acquisitions.

Prior to her stint at Pulse, Lew also worked for David Kravis’ Coastline Licensing and Marc Bruder’s CED.

Lew told AVN that Kudéta licenses content to broadcasters, IPTV, video-on-demand platforms, hotels, mobile, internet and more. The company also provides software solutions, back end maintenance and programming.

“With her experience and relationships in the industry, Amy is a great asset to the Kudéta team and is uniquely qualified to help us extend our market leadership to the U.S.,” Kudéta Managing Director Jurgen Claes said.

Kudéta holds the exclusive rights to Vivid Entertainment and Devil’s Film libraries for European VOD and IPTV. The company also holds rights to Wicked Pictures, Vouyer Media, Harmony Films, Private, Adam & Eve Pictures and more.

The company functions as a full-service content licensor, distributing many live events, sporting events, kids fare, documentaries and movies in many genres.
