Kink.com to Temporarily Halt Production

Kink.com just sent the following announcement for publication:

SAN FRANCISCO—In reaction to word of a possible incident of syphilis in Los Angeles, San Francisco-based Kink.com decided to temporarily halt video production and cancel shoots through early next week. There have been no related incidents at Kink, but the studio decided to act out of caution and safety.

The studio is evaluating current testing protocol and will review situation Monday. Before shooting can resume, all Kink models will be required to provide a new test from an approved testing facility. In an email to models, Kink apologized for the last minute shoot cancellations and offered testing information. Kink expects production to resume mid-next week.

Kink expressed strong support for the decision by APHSS.org (Adult Production Health & Safety Services) to launch its schedule September screening program immediately, in order to alleviate any further concerns.

There have been no confirmed cases reported in the U.S, but a recent outbreak in Budapest and an incident in Los Angeles prompted the studio to act.

Kink.com has always been known to foster a safe and sane work environment and hopes to continue this tradition by putting the well-being of its models first and foremost in light of this potential health issue.
