Peter Miller, president of PMA Literary & Film Management, Inc., and Kelly Skillen have announced the sale of North American rights to American Whore, an autobiography of adult film star Sunset Thomas, by Thomas and Kent Wallace, to Jeremie Ruby-Strauss of Kensington Books. PMA manages foreign and film rights to the title.
Part inspirational memoir and part hard-hitting expose, Thomas bares her “body and soul” in the book. She welcomes the reader behind the scenes of her most notorious adult films and into the alternately seedy and posh gentlemen's clubs where she headlines. She also analyzes her controversial decision to work in Nevada's legal brothels.
Journalist Kent Wallace has written for Spin, Source and Hustler among other publications. He has worked with the “Howard Stern,” “Maury Povich” and “Jenny Jones” shows and currently hosts Reno's top sports handicapping radio show, “The Xtra Point” on ESPN Radio.
