Ken DeLucia called to correct some information in his interview

Ken DeLucia called to correct some information in his interview which was posted earlier today. DeLucia mentioned that Prime Video Productions was handling Jim Holliday's Eye Candy. Not the case.

DeLucia: "I did say Jim Holliday's Eye Candy, and it was my fault. It's Jim Holliday's First Timers. Somebody called to say we didn't know you do Eye Candy. I said I don't. I said, fuck, I didn't get back to correct that with you. I found this place to buy in Acton - seven acres. I'm going to be Roy motherfucking Rogers. But pass my apologies on to VCA. I don't want Harry and those guys to go fucking nuts."

Gloria Leonard writes: "As a postscript to Night of the Stars, Candida Royalle was chosen as a Fashion Emergency candidate by the E! Channel for a transformation. although truth be told, I hardly noticed any difference in her "look." It should air in the next month or so! Also being followed by a camera crew was Jack Wrangler, creating a documentary of his life by filmmaker, Jeffrey Schwartz. Michael Miner, who claims to have sold his previous works to the likes of Miramax, has also been trailing industry folks for several weeks, working on a seemingly humorous approach to yet another documentary.

Although there were numerous glitches in the audio, bars being open when they were supposed to have been closed, lax security, rude and inattentive audience members and tardy dinner service, I believe most people had a great time. A record crowd of 900 people and a hugely successful Silent Auction, generated substantial bucks for the coming year. A dramatically re-vamped venue and format for the new millennium's gala will soon be in the works! Thanks to all who supported the FSC tribute to pioneers, freedom fighters and those who live their lives with conviction! The adult biz rules!

AVN's Kensington Smith spoke to Lynne Lopatin who had this to say about her late husband Bruce Walker's funeral arrangements.

Lopatin: "We're talking about services at this point and I'm leaning towards having a set of services in Las Vegas that will allow everyone to attend. As a sales manager Bruce knew everybody all across the country and I would hate to organize something in Los Angeles that would exclude his old friends like D.P. in San Francisco, Russ in Baltimore, people all across the country.

"Because he was such a young man and it was a preventable death, I plan to establish a trust fund. I'm working with my accountant on that. We can use it to educate not only those of us in the adult industry community, but also to reach out to our customers and remind them they need to get a prostate cancer screening. We'll do a gay-set of commercials. We'll do a straight set of commercials. It can be distributed with regular TV stations- we can use our resources as entertainers.

"The business continues, and, as my husband's legacy, I'm going to fight real hard that nobody else should go through this horrible, horrible experience

Scott Taylor of New Sensations had this to say at the Summer Expo: "We had Peter North and Jewel De'Nyle signing. Jewel was promoting her latest feature Whispers which is another high-end feature to follow Electric Sex that was directed by Nick Andrews which got an editor's choice in Adam Film World. It didn't fare quite as well in AVN but that's okay, this one will. Whispers was what was showing on our monitor, and we were promoting that throughout the show. For lack of a better comparison, it's sort of an Andrew Blake-style, beautiful pretty type of movie. It's going to have nine sex scenes in it and 15 girls. It's coming out the end of the month. Peter was promoting North Pole. North Pole has been one of our most successful lines. We were pushing that and Four Finger Club which has been a tremendous success. It's been one of our really strong re-order products. It features 10 girls per volume and we have four volumes out so far and are releasing one a month. Then we have the Video Virgins which we discontinued but are going back to it with a series called Virgins Gold. We'll start doing it on location beginning with volume 46.

"The company product is being well-received and well-reviewed, and, fortunately it's turned the company around from amateur being shot in one-room to features and high end gonzo. It's really having an effect.

"I'm expanding into DVD's. We'll be doing an interactive series called My Playmate and do the first one with Jewel De'Nyle. It's point-of-view with multiple positions, it'll have anal and will be shot for DVD with two cameras. Some of the possibilities are that you can make her have an orgasm in any oposition. The viewer can pop from any position. The controls switch from nice to naughty. She can be the innocent school girl or a very naughty schoolgirl. There's a strip segment and foreplay segment. It will be a very complete disc. We'll be releasing North Pole 4 on DVD and plan to have all our higher end series on DVD. We'll also be licensing some outside titles to fill out our line. While we're here we got National which is our one-stop. So we were happy to inform all the store retailers about everybody's product including our own."

"We went to the show expecting very little given that VSDA had not been productive in the previous years. I was absolutely, completely surprised by how good it was. We had a tremendous amount of real business come through. It seemed like there weren't as many looky-lou's so that the business people could get through and weren't intimidated by the amount of traffic. We were literally talking to somebody in some form of one our businesses whether it was the one stop, the video or DVD, just about every minute of the day. I was extremely satisfied. It was a better show for us than CES in January. I was shocked. I will definitely go again. I don't know if just got lucky, but I'll take it."

Nico Treasures who was signing for Erotica On Line had this to say at the Summer Expo.

Treasures: I've been out on tour for 5 1/2 months - Canada and all the US including Hawaii. I was supposed to do Portugal, but it fell through. Next time. That's all I've been doing. Right now I'm hanging out and will probably start back the end of summer.

"What doesn't happen on the road. It was great. I got a killer tan. Surfed in Hawaii and went through hell in Canada. There was a club owner that tried to screw me and one of the other features that was there. Typical bullshit. It was two clubs. My flight got in late and I was in customs for like three hours. They tried to put me in the same hotel room with the other feature. She didn't have a clue about that. They were trying to skip corners everywhere left and right. I finally got into my own room. Then, they didn't tell us we were going to be working both clubs. In the contract, I was working one, and she was working the other. On Friday night which would have been their busiest night, we would have switched then, but they tried to alternate us all-week long. Which I don't mind if you tell me that up front from the get-go. Tell me that in the contract but don't tell me I'm going to be one place then switch me back and forth. They were supposed to pay us in American money. They paid us half in American, half in Canadian, of course you lose in the dollar when you come back. Then because there was one show missed because of them, they didn't want to pay for that after they told my agent they would...it was a big headache. I ended up losing $300. No big deal but it was the whole principle.

"There was one other horror story in Springfield, Massachusetts. The owner was a belligerent drunk. He and his son and I got into it. They basically told me to fuck off, that I was a little bitch and to get the fuck out of their club. Whatever. I'll never go back there again.

Eli from All Good Video came to the Summer Expo armed with a serious catalog of merchandise. Product flies when you're having fun.

Eli: "We've been in business two years. We've been working our asses off. I did this on such a whim that I really didn't think where it would go. Then, when I saw the brochure, I said we got a lot of titles and it all looks pretty good. I'm real happy with the progress of our lines. Freshman Fantasies was first, and it is our anchor to a certain degree. It's the one that's best known. It's got new girls, younger girls and natural breasted girls, so I think that definitely has its own place. I'm really proud of the fact that, coming from Rosebud, we make great anal movies. I sort of, by accident, learned exactly why our stuff did good. When it started not to do good I figured out why. I was the GM at Rosebud. I came in there when they were getting started. They had a dozen titles, and I went to work for Alex deRenzy and Mike Rubenstein and Ron Sullivan. It was a great learning experience for me, especially being around deRenzy and Sullivan. It was huge. Ron still does something with me - Anal Sex Brats. Ron scripts and I cut out the things that are so far gone that Ron and I would wind up in jail. We're both very happy with it.

"Our only the A-hole series and Dirty Little Sex Brats I'm most proud of because they're the two that started off slower, and I knew they were great shows but they didn't catch on right away. Now those numbers are up where the numbers are on my other stuff. There's a lot of anal series out there, but I don't think there's any real young, female, dominant bratty continuing series out there."

Tabitha Stevens and Dee signed for All Good.

Eli: "Tabitha's new series Fuck 'Em All went out the door with bigger numbers than anything we ever released. Dee also works in a lot of our stuff. I think Dee is maybe one of the most natural, most beautiful women they we've ever had come through the business.

"I'm here mainly for two reasons - to have a presence for retailers that come through, and with so much product out there, I got to keep pressure on distributors. In their defense with so much product, it's hard to take care of everybody. It's easy to get forgotten. It's my job to stay in their face and spend the money to be visible so they can do better numbers with my product."

Eli had this to say several days later in assessing the show's worth: "Aside from the good feedback from the distributors and the people who knew who we were, we got nothing but disappointed feedback from the people who didn't know who we were - why the distributors haven't forced them to take our product yet.

"I got a chance to sit back and look at the fact that I think 85 or 90% of the girls who were signing at the entire show did their first or near first scenes in Freshman Fantasies. That's kind of cool. Got to see my customers and thank them, got to bitch about things. We had great traffic. It's hard for me to measure in the sense because I don't sell stores I don't collect business cards there. I'm there for visibility. What was good for me was that people who never heard of All Good Video were like how come I never heard of you guys. You got great-looking stuff. People who did know us came by and said they've never seen anybody grow with the quality you guys have in such a short period of time. Not even five years ago could people do it. The fact that we've done it in this climate, with this much product, made us feel pretty good.

Samantha Lewis of Digital Playground had this to say about the Expo: "I think the show went fantastic. I picked up a lot of serious buyers. It was such a relief not to have to deal with looky-lou's. I had the talent there to represent Digital Playground, to try to help the stores with store signings. We were able to converse. I was able to hear myself talk. It was lovely. Everything was very professional. I had a lot of my foreign people there. I did some good business. I well paid for the show. I am kind of concerned about one thing. At the Night of the Stars, there really was no security at all. Larry Flynt was there, everyone was there. No one took our tickets. I think that security should be an issue. There's a lot of wackos out there who don't approve of what we're all about. It wouldn't take too much for something to happen. It was a free-for-all. Anyone could get in.

She was tanned and gorgeous and wearing a skimpy bikini, but Ruby, who was signing for Evil Angel at the Summer Expo, was saying what she really wanted to do was direct.

Ruby: "You want something done right, you gotta do it yourself. I'd like to do the Shane-type of stuff but with a couple of different twists. My two top choices would be Vivid or Wicked. Just because I'm a pretty straight businesswoman, and I'm not dumb so it would be pretty hard for me to work with a company that really wasn't well organized. I would feel insecure. I would need to feel secure. I do a lot of work on the road - about six months out of the year. I sell as much video product as a small retail store. Shane's videos move like hotcakes. I've never seen anything like it. I want the video store, I want the club, I want the distribution company. I'd be a liar if I didn't say I didn't. I'm more into DVD. I want to be very well prepared for the advent of that. I'm not into the video scene. It's getting smaller and smaller."

Ruby was at the Evil Angel booth exclusively, her rationale being: "The past two conventions I signed with three companies and got little to no publicity for it. I wasn't going to hurt myself this year for that and go with the flow," she said. Ruby's next title out is The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women. "I do my first anal - with a toy. And I'm ready to do anal with a man. The thing is I don't think I could do it as a non-contract anal girl."

Jasmin St. Claire, who has a new musician boyfriend these days, said she was really excited about one of her upcoming features called LA 399.

St. Claire: "It has a lot of acting in it which is fun. I like doing that now over at Extreme. I'm a lot happier over here. LA 399 is about a guy and a girl who get into a lot of really bad problems along the way when they're driving to drop off a package for someone. And after they drop off that package even more bad things happen. The script is really cools. Charles Pinion and Rob Black are going to direct it. Charles is a really good cameraman. Charles made the 399 up. I guess it's like a street sign. Then I'll be working on Miscreants - The Next Generation. That I'm really psyched up for.

"And I'm doing the stuff with XPW now. I love getting in the ring fighting. It's like my favorite thing. I can't wait to be a heel. I think I'm a natural at it.

"I'm hosting the Milwaukee Metalfest this year, July 30 and 31. It's a big heavy metal concert that goes on every year. They have all the big bands headlining there. I did the one in March. Basically I bring on the bands and I'm there to sign autographs. Then I'll be going to the one next year. It's fun. I like it."

More stories about the Summer Expo to come in later postings

When interviewed at the Summer Expo, the actress formerly know as Stryc 9, informed us that she's acquired a last name to go along with Cherry. She's now Cherry Mirage. She signed for both Seduction and Impressive at the show.

Mirage: "I had to get that last name...how could I legally get out of the country without it? Everybody's responding real well to the name."

G. Ross: "With transplants the body sometimes rejects the heart or the name.."

Mirage: "It's going real good, I'm not even having to take drugs for it. I'm having a lot of fun freelancing here and there. I've got stuff lined up in July, August and October and I've already been asked to reserve myself for the CES Show. The [Expo] show was fun.

Industry vet David Kasten now based in Hawaii has a site called braingum.com

Kastens: "We deliver a naturally-occuring nutrient from the brain. This nutrient allows the brain to perform its cognitive memory functions. I got into it from a friend who licensed the product. He's the Kevis guy, too. I said send it to me. I've got a terrible memory. He said you got to chew two pieces three times a day for three weeks. He said don't call me for three weeks. I called him in two-and-a-half. I said I'm your poster boy. This shit works!! I was shocked. I started having old memories come back. I registered the website and it's been up and running since January.

Kasten says he has also formed a company called Barefoot Productions. "I'll be shooting some T&A stuff in Maui. My wife is the film commissioner for the islands, so we bought a house, and life is good. We're living our dream."

Evidently, so is Ken DeLucia who's now back in LA, having returned from Berkeley where he worked for Not Just Another Video Express, a distributor. Ken, who's been living a dream for a long as we've known him, is with Eddie Martinez's company, Prime Video Productions.

DeLucia: "I'm the salesman-general manager-janitor, whatever it takes.

G.Ross: Are you a better janitor than general manager? Once you get that whole rhythm down with the flushing of the toilets.."

DeLucia: "Prime is putting out the Jim Holliday Eye Candy, we've got a black series, a transsexual series, we'll be creating a high-end gay line. Our production-release schedule is going to be one-a-week. We're going to be out there and getting in your face. We've got some real good marketing ideas as far as driving the consumer. That's always been a big passion for me. That's where you get the top money for your product and you sell the numbers you want to sell. Trying to just market through the distributors and whore yourself out with 7,000 releases coming out a year is not going to work. I love being back in the area. My wife at the time wanted to live in Berkeley. I didn't like the weather. I'm glad I did a year up there with a distributor. That was the one piece of the puzzle that I didn't have. I did the marketing, I did the GM'ing with Patrick [Collins] in production, but working with a distributor I got to see just how they operate..and working real close with the stores. The stores make all the money. This has always been an upside-down industry. The stores make a ton of money and play the distributors against each other so they can buy for 25, 50 cents less...it was real good experience.

"What led to me coming back is the relationship between my wife and me was pretty much deteriorating. I felt and still feel she's one of the nicest people I've ever met on this planet. Rather than have it dissolve badly we split up...LA is where I belong. I'm back with my friends. I feel so good inside. It's home. I decided to work for Eddie. His company is ready. They have the tools, everything is in line ready to go. You'll hear a lot more from us.

"I came to the Expo to see what the competition was doing as far as advertising and marketing, so I could either plagiarize or twist it and make it work for us in something that's different and unique. In about two weeks I'll really be pounding the doors to get some press and ink."

[Heaven Leigh was contacted to respond to comments made in the following story. So far, she hasn't.]

Owner Victor Burger kicked off his new adult company, Wink Productions, with an inaugural shoot this past Sunday. The title of Burger's first feature is Rug Burns. Heading up the cast was Nina Whett, Melody Love, Kakita Ka$h, Candy Apples, Kyle Stone, Bruno, Johnny Thrust and Brandon Iron.

Burger: "Heaven Leigh ended up a no-show which fucked things up. It took me several hours to find a new girl. Because of Night of the Stars the night before, a lot of the girls weren't available. I didn't expect, of all people, Heaven Leigh not to show up. I was told she's very reliable. From what I understand she went to that big party the night before..she didn't even call us. We had to call her home and find out. We started calling at 10 because she was supposed to be on the set by 8:30, quarter-to-nine. We found out at about three in the afternoon that she had just gone out and flaked. She could have called.

"Rayne was going to be in it, too, but she called three days earlier to say she couldn't be there. To me that's respectful. That was cool.

"We did manage to get Nakita Ka$h, a beautiful girl. She only does girl-girl, but her scene with Melody Love was one of the hottest. I don't even like girl-girl, but it was great. Candy Apples also did an outrageous performance. What she does with a dick is amazing. Kyle Stone and Bruno played carpet installers. Brandon Iron had a scene with Nina Whett that was just outrageous. We ended up getting Nakita Ka$h later in the day so that held things up. It was a long shoot, but it was very good - dialog came out very good.

"At one point the battery charger fell and broke which put us in a three-hour standstill. We were fucked. It was 11 in the morning, but Jim Powers came through. Keith Harrison was our lighting man. Keith called Jim, and Jim was nice enough to supply us with a couple of batteries and a charger. We got back into shooting. We ran way into overtime. We ended up shooting there [a carpet store] and went to Star World to shoot the last scene. We ended up there two in the morning. It was terrible, but I wasn't going to give up. The shoot finally finished four in the morning. It ended up with Johnny Thrust doing the last scene with Melody Love. Everything turned out very good other than the fact it took a long ass time. The footage came out very good. And it was so hot Sunday, it made it even worse.

"All in all, everyone was pleased, we kept them all fed real good. We had a caterer come in. It came out so well, we're looking to cast for a follow-up titled Rug Burns 2: The Next Installation. We'll shoot that in the next couple of weeks. I'll use Nina Whett again, she's just dynamite. I'm looking for a buxom blond to play her cohort and partner in the store. We're going to use Bruno again.

"I produced, directed and wrote it. It was a lot of work. Kathy West was my assistant director. Johnny Pacwood did the camera. Maryann did the makeup. Being the little round pervert that I am, after 20 hours, I didn't want to see no more fucking. It was an experience.

"I don't know if we're going to make it or not, but we were pleased with what we shot, and I think other people will be, too. We're looking to cast, but I'm not looking for big, major stars. Our budgets aren't able to pay a thousand-a-scene. But we work with them. Everybody worked with me on pricing. It was within what they were looking for, and they gave the performance that was worth it. Melody Love performed well, too, for such a little dinky thing to take these big guys.

"Randi Storm who's friends with Nina Whett, was nice enough to show up in case we didn't find someone for the girl-girl. If Nakita hadn't shown up, it was nice that Randi was there."

Scott Stein of smspromotions.com reports on some of the press he's been getting on the Mexican trip coming up in October.

Stein: "We got in the June 14 issue of Forbes. The Australian edition of People ran a story. That was the April 7 issue. We were covered in the August issue of Club. The June 9 issue of Picture, the number one men's magazine in Australia also gave us a story. We're in the July issue of Bikini and the July/August issue of Gear. This Friday we're going to be on the Howard Stern E! show as well as the following Friday [July 23]. We're in the October issue of Cherry. Maxim, U.K. is also covering the event."

Sandy Margot, the actress formerly known as Tyffany Million writes: "Just another update on www.evilhole.com

Yesterday I spent another 10 hours with my "webslave" Gary, going over each and every page, streamlining them, adding content, deleting anything that made the pages look overdone. i am very pleased with the result. There are some new pages, in case you haven't checked in for awhile. look at the evil stuff page, then evil garb, then T shirt designs...also much much more...there's now music on the Bad Girl Bio page.

My cams are being installed on the 28th of this month and should be fully operational on the 30th. memberships can be purchased now, however, as my credit card acceptance link is up and running.

Let me know what you think, and don't forget to read the "FAQ's" page, it's HYSTERICAL, and the questions are real, from real fans..you won't believe what some people write!"

Mike Albo writes: "Dear Gene: Just read on another, less-informative site that the company for which I work, Larry Flynt Publications actively "censors and restricts" its writers. Like most of the "facts" coming from this increasingly bizarre website, there is absolutely no basis in truth to this assertion. I'm assumiong it's just a case of sour grapes considering that the smarmy little cretin who posts this nonsense has been banned from all our companies events and doesn't have the minimal talent requirements necessary to write for us.

I have been associated with LFP, Inc., since 1987 as a freelance writer and since 1993 as a full-time editor. Never, in all that time, have I ever received a directive from this company to censor or restrict anything. Once again, this internet moron is merely spewing out falsehoods to bolster his own flagging credibility.

I would suggest that he take whatever salary he might be drawing from fantasticonline.com and invest in a journalism course at the community college of his choice. Maybe then he may start to learn the basics of his chosen occupation and stop looking like such a jackass.

P.S. Marc Star deserves a round of applause. Marc, if you're reading this, I just want you to know that the drinks are me.

Mad Jack writes: "Gene: It was truly a pleasure to finally speak to you in person over the weekend. Considering that I'd been away for the last six years, I was blown away at the recognition I received from the majority of people at the show due to your site. It's obvious that I'm only one of many in this business who sips their morning coffee while scrolling through your site. When we first spoke you said "well Mad Jack, are you still mad," and my response still holds. NO I'm not. Now I'm getting even. I'm happy to say that all of the bullshit I've been involved in over the last few months is over (knock on wood). To put closure on the situation, I've sent a legal notice for the return of my property to my ex partner giving him two weeks to put up or possibly spend some time in my last residence, where I personally don't think he'd last a week.

The contacts I made at the show all seem to want "Smut Vegas Style"( a possible title?) and all of the girls I talked to can't wait to come out to Vegas on our shoot and dance package (speaking of which, do you have Daisy Chain's # I can't find mine and need her next week). I foresee a full schedule in the very near future. Once again, your site opened a lot of those doors. I hope you enjoy the screener I left with you and am certain you'll see a BIG difference in quality as well as Hot Fuckin' Sex. Thanks Gene.

Inside Edition TV's nightly magazine program have asked Andrew Drake of upskirt.com fame to come to New York next week to tape a piece on the the whole "voyeur" craze, which doesn't appear to want to go away.

Drake will also meet with a radio station in the Big Apple who has interest in launching an adult themed radio show. During the Summer Expo Drake accepted various invitations to do interviews with the representatives of Radio, TV and newspaper reports.

Drake "I walked in to the mainstream side of the show to look for Kim from IVD, and right away a couple of journalists are like hey aren't you that "upskirt" guy Andrew Drake, do you have a minute?" "So being my shy self I did the interview.

"The show this year was Great, Sinthetic Video did tremendous business. I personally have a couple of huge announcements that I will make here as soon as they are finalized, I will miss the West Coast."

Mike Howard writes: Gene, Thanks for confirming Alisha Klass's appearance on Showtime's Hoop Life. She appeared in the second episode this past Sunday night. She plays the part of a Porn Star Angelique who enters the life of Greg Marr, basketball star for the New England Knights.

Greg is having some major challenges with his high school sweetheart wife and Angelique, with her esoteric demeanor and New Age outlook on life, provides Greg with a vehicle to relieve his stress and mental anguish.

Alisha looks outstanding on the film with her billion dollar smile. The camera shows a full breast shot as Angelique gives Greg some massage therapy. Her acting works for me and it is a real pleasure to see her in the series. Best Wishes.

Justice Howard writes: " Hey there GENE>>>>>just a note to let you know whats up. I'll be back in L.A to shoot JULIE STRAIn for my coffee table book from July 20-24th. Also wanted to update you on the VCX thing , as you know they are distributing my first video , HELLCATS IN HIGH HEELS. Of which there have been over 4 companies stealing my title with offshoots of mine like HIGHHEELED HELLCATS and HELL IN HEELS and so on.

Also did you see my newest boxcover WHISPERS ??? IT'S in your new issue. Hope all is well. ALL THE BEST>>>>>>JUSTICE HOWARD

Jimplasti writes: "Because she behaved pretty well throughout the entire convention, Mila was rewarded by Dangerboy by hiring the stud services of Dave Hardman to fulfill Mila's selfish nasty greed of wanting to get ass wrecked after the show.

We had Mila and our new contract babe Candy Gurl signing with Gigi and Avalon at the General Video Booth . Mila has been lined up to do an interview with David Buchbinder of Hustler Magazine on the TRUE sexuality of anal queens. Well how better to interview Mila than to be in the crossfire of her anal antics. Brad says, "We figure....we can blow David away and get Mila laid at the same time". So we buy Hardman a subway sandwich and we have a shoot. The guys from Talking Blue came by to shoot video for their cable show. The Chorizo Brothers did a quick Q & A, and Mila somehow convinced Candy to pop by for some party.Dangerboy says" We have no idea what to do with this shit. We have Mila getting DP'd in a water fountain on the porch...we have a great double blow job and spit -a- thon, and some garden hose extravaganza that will make hollanders and germans happy, if not available in the U.S. We still have no idea what we are doing, but the final products are super clean and people love our shit".

Dick Stiffieee writes: "While the smut biz is still trying to do damage control with the HIV problem from last year, I don't think it needs some indaaaaaaaaaaaaavidule (I don't know and have never met) attempting to justify their behavior or relate an incident while using or under the influnce illegal drugs. From what I have read on your web site, it is just a matter of time and Kid Vegas is going to give the smut biz another black eye.

Gene sez: "You say you don't know the Kid and never met him, but to know him is to truly love him."

Subject: When the facts are few and far between, use them sparingly

"Max Cantor" writes about yesterday's postings first quoting geneross.com: "...Darren Star is never mentioned in any of these clips, and the 10-31-95 Staten Island Advance story identifies a Dean Scheu from California as accompanying the late Ms. Zurmuhlen to her hotel room. Am I just dense or am I missing something? [geneross]

Cantor: "Answer: Yes. When Marc "Star"'s grandfather debarked at Ellis Island, what name do you think he gave: "Star" or....Scheu? This is where the journalism part comes in, Rosso, and the truth of the matter is that Luke Ford is kicking your butt on this one.

Gene sez: "Hey,
