Kelly Kline has agreed to a six-picture, non-exclusive deal with Astrux Entertainment and Metro Studios.
Under the terms of the agreement, Kline will also co-direct a line with Astrux and promote the company at trade shows and other events.
“They approached me. At first it was going to be more of a promotional contract. I think it’s a great opportunity,” Kline told AVN.com. “They’re going to teach me how to direct.”
Kline has already performed in the upcoming release, Legal & Hot, Vol. 2, for Metro’s Loaded Digital. She joins Charlie Laine in Astrux’s lineup of non-exclusive talent.
“We’re excited,” said Astrux co-owner Lenny Stiltz. “We finally found girls who are more professional.”
Kline, the 23-year-old brunette from Greensboro, N.C., began a hosting gig on Spice Live’s interactive sex show, “Spice Hotel,” a month ago. Kline performs with Evan Stone on the live program.
The former horse trainer who started her career in adult a year-and-a-half ago said that so far, “I love it. I never thought it would be this exciting.”
“As a performer, I just like to do what feels good,” Kline said. “Sex is about having fun and getting off.”
When she isn’t performing, Kline also works for LA Direct Models, helping with accounting and scheduling among other duties. Derek Hay, owner of LA Direct, said he fully supported Kline’s new venture with Astrux.
“I think it will help both Kelly and her career as well as promote Astrux and their product,” Hay said. “Kelly’s been a model professional in this industry for 18 months. She is very reliable, very personable and very professional and has quite a large fan base who all love the fact that she’s a farm girl, a horse trainer from North Carolina who has made it in the big, bad adult movie industry.”
