Wicked contract performer Kaylani Lei will be making her feature dancing debut this Thursday through Saturday at the Spearmint Rhino located at 2020 East Olympic Boulevard.
“I decided to wait until I had built up enough of a name for myself to do this. I am really excited,” Lei told AVN.com. “All the other girls who do it look like they are having so much fun.”
Lei had worked as a house dancer before she became a porn performer so she isn’t completely new to the pole, pun intended. Unlike many of porn stars who become strippers and find themselves being labeled “walkers” by more experienced exotic dancers, Lei is delving deep into the moves that have worked for many of her fellow porn stars.
“I watched a few of the girls—Julia Ann, Jessica Drake, Shay Sights—to study their routines and see how they interact with the crowd,” Lei said with a nervous laugh, adding, “Please come out and see me and show your support! I am a wreck, but once I see all those faces of the fans, I know I’ll be alright.”
Lei will also be appearing at the Crazy Horse in San Francisco August 25-28.
