K-Beech Video Inc, which is home to Baby Doll Pictures, Cherry Boxxx Pictures, Midnight, Erotic Angel and Dreamland, will no longer be releasing titles on VHS.
The move for both new releases and catalog titles is effective immediately. The company said a limited supply of about 5000 pieces is still available, and after that the format will be discontinued.
CEO Kevin Beechum said, “After the recent move to shooting only in Hi Def, we decided to concentrate more on our DVD releases."
Carolyn Ward, head of sales for Baby Doll Pictures, said, “With both of our duping labs going out of business, I wanted to notify all our loyal customers of this important change, and make sure that they remove our VHS titles out of their catalogs and off their Websites.”
Ward does have some specials though.
“If you have a special circumstance and need a large quantity of one title, I have some good catalog on the shelf, but very limited quantities.”
