Jules Jordan Video Files Lawsuit Against Two NYC Stores

Jules Jordan Video, Inc. has filed a federal lawsuit in United States District Court for the Southern District of New York against two adult stores, Empire DVD and Empire Erotica, as well as the principal of those stores, Kesera Seneviatne, for selling pirated copies of Jordan's award-winning videos.

Jules Jordan Video is seeking monetary damages against the two stores and its principal, as well as injunctive relief.

Seneviatne was not immediately available for comment Thursday.

Jules Jordan Video, which is distributed through Evil Angel Video, maintains a zero tolerance policy for copyright infringement.

JJV and Evil Angel said they would actively pursue all retailers that sell pirated goods that do not comply with demands for documentation, removal and return of counterfeit goods after notice is given.
