Juicy Names Danny Gorman GM, Head of Sales

Juicy Entertainment has named industry veteran Danny Gorman as its new general manager and head of sales. Gorman, who during a career span of 15 years has worked for industry giants Vivid, Metro, and Sin City, looks forward to mapping out a new direction with the young gonzo studio.

“The Juicy label is a great one,” Gorman ssaid. “And, it’s going to have a big year.”

“Danny is one of the best and well-liked salespeople in the adult business,” said Juicy Entertainment owner, Alex E. “He’s going to improve our lines and make some changes. We’re thrilled to have him here.”

Gorman is excited as well. “At Sin City, I pretty much was at the top of what I could do,” he said. “At Juicy, I’m being given a lot of room to make changes. I can finally do the things I couldn’t before. It was the next step.”

Along with changing Juicy’s boxes, Gorman plans to streamline the company’s product and pump new blood into its directing roster. “We’re revamping a lot of stuff,” Gorman said. “We’re going to drop two or three of our lines and keep the better ones. Introduce new lines and bring in new directors.”

Two of the new lines Gorman will be handling are the Max Hardcore (Universal Max, Extreme Schoolgirls) and Venom Digital Media (Contract Girls Gone Gonzo, Cum Swallow) labels Juicy recently acquired from Exquisite Multimedia. “I really think Venom is a great line,” Gorman beamed. “I like how the director does his stuff. We’re really going to be pushing those lines.”

Gorman will also debut a series of his own for Juicy in February. “I’m working out the details now, but it’s going to be a gonzo line,” he said. “Alex is a great guy and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of Juicy.”

Juicy Entertainment celebrates its third anniversary in March. Porn Fidelity and Pink Kitty are two of its best selling titles. Former general manager Marty Turkel continues to work for Juicy as a consultant.
