After just seven months of operation, Juicy Entertainment is reporting growing sales and consumer interest, according to sales manager Marty Turkel.
“I really am amazed,” Turkel told AVN.com. “With all the stuff on the market, we’re doing very well. Our numbers are increasing every month.”
Juicy has already made its presence felt in the adult industry, and not just because of the special foil packaging on all its releases, which is already being widely imitated.
Turkel cites Rob King’s Ass Deep 2, shipping this week, as an example of its harder-edged gonzo product, along with Buster Booty’s just-released Watch Me Eat My Creampie 1.
Topping the new releases for January is Van Damage’s The Damage Files No. 2, starring Lucy Thai. Meanwhile, Brittaney Starr keeps turning out volumes of My First Porn Scene and Party Bus Pussy Patrol in Las Vegas, featuring first-time talent drawn from the local dancer pool.
Bi-Sexual Barebacking, directed by Gia Adore, is a novelty for Juicy—a bisexual line. “We did very well with the first one,” said Turkel.
Also early next year they’ll be releasing Sodomy Sessions from Valentino Productions, with “beautiful foreign girls.”
“I’m really excited,” said Turkel, “and when an old bastard like me get’s excited, that’s something. We’re really coming into our own.”
He said the Juicy Entertainment booth will be “right up front” in the Adult Expo convention hall in January. Actress-directors Le and Starr will be among those signing.
