Jon Dough Separates From Anabolic

AVN Hall of Famer Jon Dough is no longer directing for Anabolic.rnrn

The split came after a meeting held on Friday between Dough and the executives of Anabolic/Diabolic. rnrn

"The principals of Anabolic/Diabolic and Jon Dough agreed that there might be greater opportunity for Dough someplace else," said Chris Alexander, owner of Anabolic.rnrn

Dough is the second director to part ways with Anabolic within the last couple of weeks. Lexington Steele left for a deal with Red Light District late last month, a move that spurred rumors that Anabolic was having internal disputes between the executives who run the company and the directorial talent who produce the videos. rnrn

"We're having no internal problems," stated Alexander, who still directs the Nasty Nymphos series as well as a few others. "We had a meeting a few days before the meeting with Dough - and everyone was quite happy with the arrangement we had," rnrn

"With the exception of Evil Angel, Anabolic probably pays the highest of anyone else out there. In terms of budget and the arrangements with the directors there is no doubt in my mind that we are one of the fairest and nicest companies out there to work with," said Alexander, who reported that a director sitting across from was nodding in agreement as he spoke. rnrn

Attempts to contract Jon Dough were of no avail.
