Johnny Legend Revives XXX Classic 'Teenage Cruisers'

LOS ANGELES - Johnny Legend is promoting his new Legend House DVD of the '70s XXX cult classic Teenage Cruisers with a special screening tomorrow night at the Silent Movie Theatre.

Written, produced and directed by Legend (a.k.a. Martin Marguiles), Teenage Cruisers stars Serena, John Holmes, Wild Man Tony Conn and Bill Margold. The madcap "American Graffiti"-style comedy features a pioneering rockabilly soundtrack with future X guitarist Billy Zoom and other artists from the L.A. music scene.

Legend will introduce the 8 p.m. screening with special guests Margold and Lynn Marguiles (Johnny's sister, who worked on the movie and appeared in a nonsex role.) Offering an onslaught of "red-hot cruisin' cupcakes and stick-shifting stoners with boners," the movie is a must-see for vintage porn freaks.

Legend House is distributed by Rykodisc, a division of Warner Brothers. The label has also released the 1973 exploitation flick Barn of the Naked Dead and other choice nuggets of sleaze.
