Industry veteran Joey Wilson who has been in and out of the adult industry since 1979, most recently working at Rosebud Productions. Now he's taking his experience to Metro, where he has joined Metro's newly restructured company as production director.
"We are very fortunate to have Joey here with us," says Yuki Rosenfeld, President and Chief Operating Officer. "He is a veteran of this industry and brings all of his experience and success with him; he is an asset to this company and rounds out the re-organization that has been taking place recently here at Metro Interactive."
As a part of its restructuring efforts, Metro wanted to strengthen its production arm by bringing someone to the table whose experience spoke for itself, and Wilson's speaks volumes. During his three years at Rosebud, he reinvented a line that was virtually non-existent in the market, into an award winning series.
"Metro has always been a company that is unafraid to delve into new and innovative projects and marketing programs," says Wilson. "I am looking forward to being an instrumental part of their new direction."
"As large as Metro is and as wonderful as their catalog has been in the past they've been off the radar for a while. There's been some great stuff - but no signature series or given direction. Great content, but nothing driven," Wilson told AVN.com. "We've got a great feature line that James Avalon does, and we're going to try to be create a better marketing plan for those and be more innovative with our packaging."
