Joey Wilson, formerly with Metro Studios, where he initiated their top-selling FusXion line, has launched his own company, Third Degree Films. Their first release, Share the Load, is shipping this week, with a street date of July 26.
Third Degree, like FusXion, will emphasize hardcore gonzo and wall to wall releases, all simultaneous DVD and VHS, with hard and soft DVD inserts.
“The response has been incredible,” Wilson told AVN.com. “It’s nice to know I’ve got some friends out there. I’m doing every bit of the business I was doing at Metro.”
Wilson brought on board with him as sales manager his former Metro colleague Tony Santoro.
“Joey has an incredible reputation in the industry on both sides—production and distribution,” Santoro said. “I really believe in what he can bring. The consumers are begging for the product already.”
Share the Load, with a cum-swapping theme, features Ariana Jollee, Teagan and eight other girls. It was directed by Chris Streams.
At present Third Degree is shipping two titles a month, with a plan to go weekly “at the end of fall.” Next release, in two weeks, is Don’t Tell My Daddy.
