Joanna Angel to Host Rock-N-Roll Bingo

VCA contract starlet Joanna Angel will host the upcoming Rock-N-Roll Bingo night on Thursday at Crane’s Hollywood Tavern (1611 North El Centro Ave.). Angel will be joined by punk rock frontman Keith Morris, who founded the bands Black Flag and the Circle Jerks.

Bingo will start at 6 p.m., and be played until 10 p.m. Bingo cards are $5 each and all proceeds will go to benefit the Silverlake Conservatory of Music.

The LA Weekly-sponsored event will feature several prizes, including tickets to Primus, Alice in Chains, Jello Biafra, belly-dancing classes, jewelry, clothing, and tarot card readings, along with free giveaways throughout the night.

Attendees will be able to eat and drink while they play. Other sponsors include Amoeba Music, Axis of Justice, G & S Wipes and Sin for Sale.

Rock-N-Roll Bingo is a non-profit organization formed by the duo of Shelly Brown and Sybil Nicholson. The organization’s purpose is to bring together musicians, fans of music, grassroots political organizations and community members to support various social charitable organizations and events.
