WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Multiple AVN Award nominee and head of BurningAngel.com Joanna Angel will celebrate the release of the Girls Girls Girls II DVD at the Roxy in Los Angeles.
The event, which will also celebrate AVN staffer Peter Warren's birthday, is set for 9 p.m. Thursday, March 12. The Roxy is located at 9009 W. Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069.
"The movie came out two months ago, but I waited for the perfect release party; I was waiting for Peter Warren to have a birthday," Angel told AVN.
The evening will be hosted by Sasha Grey, star of Vivid's upcoming Throat: A Cautionary Tale, in conjunction with Dim Mak.
"Our music and our promotions, combined with the culture Joanna has created, are really going to make for an awesome party," said Dim Mak COO Michael Dutcher.
Scheduled to attend the celebration, in addition to Angel and Grey, are Regan Reese and Draven, with appearances by DJ Metric, Heavy Accents, and more.
Angel will emcee the event, giving away free DVDs and hosting an "America's Next Top Porn Star" contest.
In the spirit of Girls Girls Girls II, Angel is asking all guests to wear their "most colorful and obnoxious '80s-looking outfit."
"[The Roxy is] the perfect venue for the movie, because the movie emulates the '80s," Angel said. "People hung out at the Roxy during the '80s. It's like an homage. I'm proud of the movie, it's got a good cast, we all did a great job banging each other, now it is time to party."
Aside from celebrating the movie with her friends and fans, Angel said there's another reason she is looking forward to the night.
"It's always been a dream of mine to see Peter Warren in a pair of purple Spandex and teased hair," she said.
The party is open to anyone 18 and older, and cover is $10 at the door. The first 100 fans to RSVP will earn a spot on Angel's private guest list.
