Jewel De'Nyle Gearing Up for Comeback

CHICAGO – AVN award-winner Jewel De'Nyle accompanied wrestler Jamie Dundee into the ring on Saturday as a special guest of POWW Entertainment. Poised for a comeback with her new company Platinum Jewel, De’Nyle spoke to AVN about her recent adventures.

"I was in Elk Grove, Illinois for POWW Entertainment," De'Nyle told AVN regarding Saturday's event. "Former WWF and WCW champion Jamie Dundee was going for the title and I was his valet into the ring. He was fighting against Brandon Bishop. He ended up losing the belt because the other guy cheated, so they're going to have a rematch October 6."

POWW Entertainment (Purely Obsessed Wrestling World), an independent wrestling federation based in the Midwest, recruited De'Nyle for the match, she said, because "some of the guys knew who I was or something, and thought it'd be cool if I came out to valet. So I went and did that for a day, and then came home. It's a little organization, but they put on a hell of a show. They really enjoyed having me there, I had a lot of people that were excited for me to be there."

De'Nyle said that although she was invited to return for the rematch, "unfortunately, on the 6th, my best friend is having her 30th birthday, so I can't miss my friend's 30th ... you only turn 30 once!"

As for the impending launch of Platinum Jewel, which is to be released through Sinsation Pictures and distributed by Wicked Pictures, De'Nyle said, "The first title to come out will be No Boys, No Toys, which is due out in late October or early November, starring Ariana Jollee in her first and last movie she's done in over a year. Just because we're friends, she did that for me.

"I'm coming to LA on the 10th of October," she added, "and I'm shooting Shelly Martinez, the former ECW Living Dead Girl wrestler. She's actually going to be doing a movie for me for my new company."
