Jesse Jane to Speak at Adult Seminar

Digital Playground contract star Jesse Jane will be a special guest at the Adult Entertainment for Fun and Profit seminar this Saturday at the Warner Center Marriott Hotel.

The seminar is designed to cover a wide range of topics related to success in the adult industry, including production, multi-market distribution, advertising, promotion, legal and health and safety issues. Organizers say the information should be practical for both industry members and those who would like to get started.

“We’ve been working on it for some time,” Paul Interlandi, the president of Freedom Distributing and Moonlight Entertainment who co-organized the seminar, told AVN.com. “Every time I go to a show, {the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo}, Erotica LA, whatever show it is, I get inundated with VHS and DVD submission tapes of people who have spent thousands and thousands of dollars to create something.

“At AEE, I got 30 tapes and out of that stack of 30, there was only two that was even worth calling back. So that’s a lot of money people wasting on stuff that doesn’t have the proper 2257 requirements, the proper number of scenes, proper formatting. It’s better for these people to spend a little bit of money on a seminar and end up with something they can potentially market.”

Interlandi, a 21-year veteran of adult who has a BA in film production, owns and manages a catalog of over 118 features. He will be one of the featured speakers, along with his partner Gregory Piccionelli, who is one of the country’s most experienced Internet entertainment attorneys.

Piccionelli is a licensed patent attorney and senior member of Piccionelli & Samo, a pioneering Los Angeles intellectual property and entertainment law firm with practice areas including adult, e-business and high-technology matters.

Two-time AVN Award-winner Joey Strange will also share some of his inside knowledge of the business at the seminar, which is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Meanwhile, Interlandi said that Jesse Jane would discuss the business of being a contract performer.

“We have a lot of great information prepared,” Interlandi said. “It will definitely be a learning experience for whoever attends.”
