Digital Playground contract star Jesse Jane and AVN president Paul Fishbein on Thursday morning will be giving away a trip for two to the 2006 AVN Awards in Las Vegas on the nationally syndicated “Howard Stern Show.”
Jesse Jane is hosting the 23rd annual ceremony along with comedian Greg Fitzsimmons on January 7 at the Venetian Hotel Ballroom.
“I think it’s awesome to go on Howard’s show with Paul,” she told AVN.com from her second home in Oklahoma City, Okla., today. “It’s going to be great to promote AVN. I love Paul and I love Howard. I listened to the show last year with Teagan and Cytherea, so I’m glad I get to represent this year with Paul. I can’t wait. I love New York. We’re going to be in Times Square and it’s going to be an awesome time, and we’re going to pump everyone up for the 2006 AVN Awards. We’re going to rock it.”
Jane, who has been a guest of Stern’s a couple times in her career, added, “He’s always nice to me. It’s his last week and he’ll only have a few more guests coming on, so that’s pretty cool. It’s going to be an extra fun show.”
Jesse Jane and Fishbein will likely be on the air between 7:45 and 8:15 a.m.
Fishbein said the trip package is all expenses paid.
“It's exciting to do one more Howard Stern appearance before he moves to Sirius Radio,” he said. “I've been doing Howard's show for 22 years. They've always been very generous with AVN so I'm honored that we're amongst his final guests on terrestrial radio."
Samantha Lewis, president of Digital Playground, is accompanying the pair on the Stern visit.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to talk about hosting the AVN Awards Show as well as Pirates and all of Jesse's future projects,” Lewis said. “I couldn't be any prouder. Jesse has earned this. She's a top entertainer. She just keeps rising to the top of every occasion.”
Jesse Jane and Carmen Luvana recently completed a whirlwind national tour to promote the Digital Playground/Adam & Eve release of Pirates, appearing at Virgin Megastore in Times Square two weeks ago.
Jesse Jane said she was looking forward to her feature dancing debut on Friday, Dec. 9 at the Spearmint Rhino in City of Industry, Calif. The following night she will take the stage at Spearmint Rhino in Van Nuys.
