LAS VEGAS - Digital Playground contract star Jesse Jane claimed the title of 2007's Adult Movie Feature Entertainer of the Year at last week's Exotic Dancer Awards Show at the Orleans Theater.
Presented by Exotic Dancer magazine, the Awards recognize girls for the amount of demand and revenue they solicit on the club circuit. Honoring the adult movie performer who commands the highest draw for live shows at clubs, the Adult Movie Feature Entertainer of the Year accolade, according to Exotic Dancer publisher Don Waitt, "means that the majority of 2,500 club owners think Jesse Jane is the best at what she does."
"Oh my gosh, I didn't expect to win," said Jesse. "I love dancing, it is a passion of mine, so this is a very special and personal acknowledgment for me."
Jack Pepper, VP of marketing for Atlanta's Pink Pony club, testified to Jesse’s drawing power. "I have been booking feature acts for almost 20 years, and ... I have to say Jesse's appearance was the best experience I have ever had dealing with someone of her stature,” he said. “Rarely have I received as good feedback from the managers as I have with Jesse."
Added Lance Migliaccio, owner of La Boheme Gentlemen's Cabaret, "She is charismatic, intelligent, professional, funny and charming, as well as sexy and beautiful."
The 2007 Exotic Dancer Awards marked the show's 10th anniversary. The ceremony is held as part of the Adult Gentlemen's Club Owners Expo, held this year in conjunction with the new Storerotica convention at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
