Jeff Steward of Legend Video called when Kid Vegas' personal comments about Kid Vegas: Whoremaster appeared on this site a couple of days ago.
Jeff [gagging with laughter]: "What is this? What am I watching? I think it's probably THE most unusual piece of video I've ever watched. It's different. I watched it three different times. The first time, I didn't know what to think or say. I watched it again and basically found myself laughing through most of the movie. I've looked at other supposed Gen-X videos, I actually find the Kid Vegas one more entertaining only because it's so ridiculous. It has entertainment value, whether it has porn value, I'm not sure. I don't get the whole Gen-X thing. I don't understand it. I like my porno with fucking in it and stuff. When I watched Kid Vegas, I didn't get it, but I also found myself not being able to fast-forward through it. I wanted to see what he'd do next. The second, one, Viva Kid Vegas is even more ridiculous.
"Wait till you see this one which comes out on Monday. It takes it to a whole new level of absurdity. I don't know if he's on to something. This next one is so much better only because there's more sex in it. This one too is crazy, off-the-wall and has so many strange things going on that you just want to look at it. The next one after that is Kid Vegas Superstar. The thing he's been wanting to do, and I'm trying to talk him out of it, is calling it Kid Vegas: Trenchcoat Pornographer. I don't see that as a good way to go with it. Bad timing. Could be a problem. He really likes that, though, depicting himself on the front cover with a trenchcoat open with sticks of dynamite, bombs and missiles. I'm trying to talk him out of that. But we're changing the world of porn forever."
Steward said he hadn't heard anything about a rumored Johnny Toxic lawsuit over Toxic being quoted on the Whoremaster boxcover, supposedly without his permission. "That's a new one to me," Steward said. "But with these guys, you never know.
