Jameson Voices Support for Medical Marijuana

Jenna Jameson, an advocate for the medical use of marijuana, is featured for the third time as the cannabis cover girl of the August issue of High Times magazine.

Wearing cut-off jeans, a straw hat and tight white t-shirt that sports a large green marijuana leaf, Jameson is also featured in a pictorial and interview. All of the photos were taken by Jameson’s husband, Jay Grdina, who is president of the fast growing Club Jenna Inc. enterprise.

“America’s drug policy is oppressive. Prohibition didn’t work for alcohol and it won’t work now. We have to justify a war on people. And that’s what it is. It’s absolutely psychotic,” Jameson said in her interview.

The writer (Dan Skye) also points out that, “For Jenna, it’s a serious subject. When her grandmother was suffering from throat cancer, Jameson and her brother encouraged her to smoke medical pot.”

Jameson recalls, “As soon as we introduced medicinal marijuana to my grandmother, she started to gain weight. It should be legal for medical users. When people are violently ill like that, marijuana makes them feel better. It allows them to eat. Unfortunately, the government hates to back down or admit they’re wrong.”
