HOLLYWOOD—Details are spare at this point, but it seems AVN Male Performer/Crossover Star of the Year James Deen's follow-up in the mainstream arena to his starring role opposite Lindsay Lohan in forthcoming neo-noir thriller The Canyons is already wrapped and headed for release.
A teaser trailer for another, more classically noirish-looking picture titled Novel was posted online yesterday, and in it, Deen clearly appears to play the lead. The movie was written and directed by Samuel Gonzalez Jr., who has previously directed several commercials, music videos and other projects.
No release date or distribution information for Novel is yet available, and while Deen could not divulge anything further about it to AVN, he did indicate that he still has no intention of leaving porn, saying, "I am not going anywhere."
