Industry veteran Mike Barbella has accepted a sales position with Jill Kelly Productions.
Barbella brings 16 years of experience selling adult videos into the job. He most recently worked in production for Robert Hill Releasing.
“I’m very excited to be here. I’ve known of Jill Kelly Productions since they opened and I’ve always looked at their product to be a cut above the rest,” he said. “It’s a high-end quality product and the girls are beautiful.”
Barbella, who has also worked in sales capacities for JM Productions, Astral Ocean Cinema, Homegrown Video, Notorious and the now-defunct Intropics, said his primary focus at JKP is “customer service.”
“Recently, there’s been a lot of talk about what’s taking place within the insides of Jill Kelly Productions. It is my goal – and I absolutely will not budge on this – I will make Jill Kelly customer service the No. 1 priority.”
Barbella joins Dani Vargas, who also recently joined the company, in making up the new JKP sales force.
“I was doing Robert Hill Releasing for the last year. Production is kind of cool. It’s interesting and wild, but for me the action is in selling. After 16 years, I can pretty much do it in my sleep,” Barbella said.
