OXNARD, Calif.—A junior high school teacher was placed on paid administrative leave Monday after it was discovered she performed in adult movies.
The teacher at Haydock Intermediate School, who’s name hasn’t been released, is under investigation by the Oxnard School District, which will determine if she’ll continue her employment. There’s no moral turpitude clause in the teacher’s contract. A three-member committee will be tasked with deciding her fate.
The teacher’s adult work was discovered by students at the school, which should be more of a concern to school officials than the former activities of one of its teachers.
"It has been alleged that one of our teachers is depicted in at least one pornographic video and possibly others on the Internet," superintendent Jeff Chancer said in a letter to parents whose children attend the district's three junior high schools. "We are asking teachers to discourage the children from searching for and/or visiting these inappropriate sites."
In a funny twist to the story, school administrators initially couldn’t find the teacher’s adult work after an internet search because they didn’t realize they were searching on the school’s computers that employed filtering software.
After this “investigation,” the school fired off a memo to its staff, claiming the rumors weren’t true. Later that day two teachers came forward to show the admins the X-rated link on their phones. Oops!
According to KFI, the teacher in question appeared on BigSausagePizza.com, and the footage may have found its way onto a volume of the Big Sausage Pizza DVDs released between 2005 and 2008.
