It's July 4 All Over Again at Hustler's "Freedomfest"

HOLLYWOOD — A longtime supporter of free speech causes, Hustler Hollywood has partnered with the world-famous Whisky A Go Go on the Sunset Strip to create the "Sex, Drinks and Rock 'n' Roll Freedomfest," a fundraiser to benefit the Free Speech Coalition, now in its 18th year as the adult industry's trade association.

The event will take place on July 29, beginning at 8 p.m., with the first 200 guests receiving a drink ticket for a "Hustler-tini" cocktail. Admission is just $15, all of which goes to benefit FSC's industry support programs, including its upcoming court battle against the onerous 2257 regulations. But as if that weren't enough, the wristbands that all attendees will receive can be "redeemed" across the street at the Hustler Hollywood store for a "goodie bag filled with lots of sexy swag."

"Hustler has always stood for freedom of expression and the right of adults to indulge in adult entertainment, so when the FSC came to us and asked for help putting on this fundraiser, we wanted to make it really special and also a great event for consumers," said Theresa Flynt, vice president of operations for Flynt Management Group. "Free speech is important to all Americans, especially artists, actors, musicians and other entertainers. What better way to celebrate that freedom than to enjoy an evening of music, videos and fun? And right now, when so many nonprofits are struggling to bring in revenue, the FSC represents the industry in a positive light, protects our legal interests and needs to be supported more than ever."

"And when Hustler throws a party, we like it to be a very classy, fun and exciting for everyone," she continued. "With the help of everyone at the Whisky, we’re gonna blow the roof off and really rock the Sunset Strip. And afterward, come by Hustler Hollywood to pick up your gift bag. We even have a coffee bar for an after-party latte."

FSC Membership Director Joanne Cachapero expressed her thanks to Hustler and the Whiskey for donating the time and funds for the celebration, and noted some of the companies and personalities that will be in attendance.

"We have a star-studded list of adult industry celebrities slated to appear and just hang out with guests," she said, "including Wicked Pictures contract stars Stormy Daniels, Kirsten Price, Kaylani Lei, Alektra Blue and Mikayla Mendez. Also on the A-list: Sasha Grey, star of Stephen Soderbergh’s The Girlfriend Experience; star of HBO’s "Cat House" reality series Sunny Lane; classic star Nina Hartley; punk porn princess BurningAngel.com’s Joanna Angel; Adam & Eve contract star Kayden Kross; Playboy Radio personality (and award-winning adult actress) Nicki Hunter; adult starlets Monica Mayhem and Angelina Armani; and for the ladies, AVN Best Actor 2009 Evan Stone and Wicked’s Randy Spears. Adult director Jack Napier will be DJ for the evening."

Also on hand, from VH1's "Rock of Love," will be Ambre Lake as emcee for the event, as well as kick-ass band Bolt Action Thrill, but for more adult entertainment, top producers such as Hustler, Wicked Pictures, Adam & Eve and Evil Angel will be showing clips from their latest movies, while major novelty manufacturers like Topco Sales, Adventure Industries, XGen Products, Sportsheets and Screaming O will demonstrate their products all night long. And AVN will be videotaping everything, starting with the red carpet and continuing into the wee hours.

The event will be open to the over-21 public, and will take place on Wednesday, July 29 at the Whisky A Go Go, 8901 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, CA 90069 — but get those RSVPs in as soon as possible, as space is limited.
