LOS ANGELES—Details are sketchy, but a Canadian site that covers South Asia reports that a documentary team wants to make a film about Indo-Canadian adult star turned Bollywood actor Sunny Leone and her musician/manager husband, Daniel Weber.
“Photo-journalist Dilip Mehta and his filmmaker sister Deepa Mehta will make the film but are waiting for an affirmation from the couple,” reports vancouverdesi.com.
Weber is quoted as saying, “Sunny and I have been approached regarding a documentary about our lives and have been in talks with a Canadian production company (Hamilton Mehta Productions) and Dilip Mehta. We will have more information about the shooting schedule in the next 30 days.”
The documentary will touch on Leone’s life in Canada and Los Angeles before she made the successful transition to bona fide Bollywood star.
The former Vivid Girl is currently filming Leone is currently working on two Bollywood features—Tina & Lolo and Ragini MMS 2—each of which is scheduled for a 2014 release, the site reported.
