A man who seemed to have gotten away with starting a fatal house fire is expected to plead guilty to the crime on Friday. And its all because of confessions he made in an Internet chat room. \n Larry Froistad Jr., 29, is scheduled to enter the plea in Dickinson, N.D., near where his 5-year-old daughter died in a house fire in 1995. Arson and homicide are state crimes but Froistad is also being sought by federal officials in connection with child pornography offenses, which are federal crimes. \n A lawyer for Froistad said a plea bargain is being negotiated but declined to be more specific. \n Froistad, a computer programmer, was arrested in March in San Diego after allegedly posting several messages in a chat room in which he confessed to setting the blaze that killed his daughter, Amanda. Other members of the group who saw the messages reported him to authorities. \n A search of his apartment following his arrest revealed hundreds of images of child pornography on his computer. Also on the computer were two Internet messages in which Froistad said he had molested the girl. One of those messages was posted in a chat room often visited by pedophiles, according to official documents filed with the case.
