Former Sex.com and Igallery sales and marketing maven Paul Nash and former Detour Interactive president Rainey Stricklin have joined Internet Commerce Group, best known in the adult world for their XXXCash.com Website, with Nash becoming marketing director and Stricklin sales director.
"After spending some time with Sal and taking a look at all that ICG has to offer, the opportunity was too good to pass up," Nash said in the company's announcement. "There's a wealth of untapped potential at ICG, and I'm looking forward to sinking my teeth into it."
"I'm excited about the opportunity to work with Sal and Paul at ICG," said Stricklin, whose experience also includes heading up WebSideStory's adult and mainstream advertising. "We have quality sites, strong conversions, and solid technology to back it up. That, coupled with Sal's vision of the future, convinced me to join the team."
ICG owns and operates XXXCash.com, militarycash.com, and celebritycash.com, as well as strippers.com, femalestars.com, malestars.com, and nakedsoldier.com.
Founder Sal Abbate said ICG's need to develop sales and marketing strategy further prompted hiring the two. "(W)e wanted to go full force and hire people with proven skills in the adult industry,” said Abbate, who founded ICG in 1996. “With Paul and Rainey on board, you’ll be seeing a lot more of ICG and we’re confident we’ll emerge as a leading revenue source for the industry.”
