Exhibitors from all sectors of the adult entertainment industry will display their wares during Erotica LA this weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The show runs Friday from 4 p.m.- 11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Now in its 12th year, the adult consumer expo has assembled what promises to be its hottest lineup yet, featuring porn stars, burlesque performances, fetish models, sexy seminars, the all-new Sexopolis Rock Arena and the third annual F.A.M.E. Awards.
"This is our industry's big event for the summer," said Tera Patrick, who will greet fans with husband Evan Seinfeld of Teravision at booth 1205. Among the other stars scheduled to appear at the Teravision booth are AVN's Female Performer of the Year Sasha Grey, director Dave Navarro and Vivid Girl Sunny Leone.
Tera and friends will host a birthday celebration for Zenetti.com's Eric Ramirez on Saturday night from 11 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. at East Third in downtown LA.
Wicked Pictures contract stars Stormy Daniels, jessica drake, Kaylani Lei, Mikayla Mendez and Randy Spears are all scheduled to appear at booth 109. Directors Brad Armstrong and Michael Raven will also be in attendance.
Publicist Daniel Metcalf of the Azurix Group says the Wicked booth "will dramatically showcase the products that have made Wicked one of the most instantly recognizable brands in adult entertainment."
Lexington Steele will be at booth 1308 to promote his Mercenary Pictures DVDs and his signature line of adult toys from Topco Sales.
"I've often talked about how Mercenary Pictures always aims to bring its fans the biggest bang for their buck," Steele said. "In this case, we're bringing Mercenary Pictures - and myself - to the fans. They have shown us tremendous support over the years and attending a consumer-focused show like Erotica LA is a great way for us to get feedback from them."
Tommy Gunn will endorse a new male enhancement product called Phallitrex at the show, signing for manufacturer NutraServ at booth 517. An advertising campaign featuring Gunn will follow the Phallitrex launch at the event.
"There's nothing better than meeting the fans and having a chance to talk to them," Gunn said. "But what makes this Erotica LA even more memorable is that I'll be endorsing Phallitrex. It's a great product for the guys at home looking for an edge and who want to perform like a star."
Gunn will also sign at booth 1620 for Offset Entertainment, producers of the Porn Icon series which features Gunn in its latest volume.
"Offset Entertainment's doing a great job to make this volume of Porn Icon one of its best," Gunn said. "We're talking about the extras the title will include and the casting. It's a great feeling to be included in the company of the past performers the series featured - Mr. Marcus, Sean Michaels, Hershel Savage and Mark Davis. They are true legends of the industry."
Nikki Benz has a busy weekend planned, appearing for Jules Jordan and Brazzers at booth 1001 and hosting a live stage show for The Screaming O.
"I have new promo material to sign and give away, and I'm really looking forward to meeting my new fans and saying hello to the existing ones," said Benz.
Hellhouse Media will feature starlets Jenny Hendrix and Moxxie Maddron at booth 1911. The company will also be featured in the new Sexopolis Rock Arena, along with Dave Navarro and Ron Jeremy.
"It's always a great time working for HellHouse but I'm really excited about signing at Erotica L.A. this year," said Maddron. "It sounds like the new Sexopolis Rock Arena section was custom made for me."
"The Rock Arena is a part of the convention dedicated to sex and the rock and roll spirit," said organizer Matthew Grim. "We are very pleased to have Ron Jeremy, one of the top porn stars of all time as our official Rock and Sex Ambassador. Metal Sanaz will be joining us as Empress of Ceremonies. It is an honor to have such great people representing sex and rock 'n' roll at the Arena."
Sexopolis Rock Arena will feature the Motorhead Lounge, with official Motorhead merchandise, hourly giveaways, and a raffle for a bass guitar signed by the band's legendary frontman Lemmy. Metal fans can also audition at the booth to be in an upcoming Motorhead video.
The Rock Arena will be packed with rock stars including Gen of the Genitorturers, L.A. Guns, Scum of the Earth, Faster Pussycat, Bang Tango and many more. The Viper Room will have a booth presenting special deals on Viper Room Merchandise and outrageous club promotions.
Dave Navarro will also be celebrating his birthday at the convention, and fans can enter to win a signed Fender Stratocaster from Navarro at the Bondage Ball booth in the arena.
Joanna Angel will be judging the Tattoo Contest in the Rock Section at 6:30 pm on Saturday evening. The world famous game show "Strip for Pain", hosted by Doug Sakmann, will also be at Erotica LA, where BurningAngel Girls Cali Nova & Cadence St. John will be performing the game in the Rock Section of the expo.
