Webdreams Adult Internet Documentary Begins Shooting

A Canadian documentary series featuring the exploits of several Adult online entrepreneurs has begun shooting. Webdreams, produced by Montreal-based Galafilm, will premiere next year on Canadian network Showcase.

The eight-part series focuses on a cast of Montreal-based characters, from small webcam operators to world travelers who produce and market Adult content for the Web, and is being shot by Ziad Touma (Saved by the Belles, Kink II) and Josh Dorsey (Here Am I, One Day). Principle photography will continue in various North American cities and Europe until November.

“We are getting a chance to see a first-hand account of these people who have chosen to make their sex lives available to the online community,” said Michael Kronish, Galafilm producer. “The rift between their public and private lives is fascinating.”

According to the producers, each half-hour show will weave between the professional and private lives of these individuals and detail what effect their public personas have on their offline lives.

The series is being produced in part with financial assistance from the Canadian Television Fund.
