A straight arrow high school senior falls in love with the perfect girl next door only to discover that she's a former porn star.
That's the plot of The Girl Next Door, a New Regency production that stars Elisha Cuthbert, best known for her role as the daughter on the hit FOX TV series 24, as a porn star trying to get out of the business, and Emile Hirsch (Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys) as the studious senior.
New Regency is billing the movie as a teen romantic comedy, not an in depth look at the adult industry, although there is a fictionalized recreation of the Las Vegas Adult Entertainment Expo, which took place on a sprawling soundstage, complete with video company booths, including a full scale , including a full scale Adam & Eve booth complete with their new line of Topco novelties, and some genuine porn stars.
Under the direction of Luke Greenfield (The Animal), Wicked Girls Sydnee Steele, Devinn Lane, Julia Ann, and Stormy spent the shoot at the real-life Wicked booth posing for photographers with actors dressed up as rock stars.
Wicked Pictures was pleased to be included in the mainstream project and reports that the director couldn't have been more pleased with the work of the wicked girls, calling them ..."great - both beautiful and professional!"
Topco Sales was excited to be part of the movie as well. "It's incredible exposure. We'll have our product on the big screen in front of audiences across America," Jennifer O' Gorman, spokesperson for Topco Sales, told AVN.com.
"It's great to start our new relationship with Adam & Eve within a mainstream project. That's one of the main reasons we are working with them - they are a household name, " she added.
The production is scheduled to wrap in mid-march, with no planned released date as of yet. The Girl Next Door will be distributed by Fox.
