The Imagemaster himself says it: "Niche is where it's at," at least so far as the future of adult imagery and even entertainment might be. For his part, he's issued seven new niche CDs of his striking erotic photography, some of which will feature companion films.
The new releases include volumes 1-4 in an All Gothic/BDSM series, and volumes 1-3 of an All BDSM series. And while the Imagemaster says he's most inclined toward the bondage genre, he has a watchful eye on Gothic, both bondage and otherwise.
"Gothic could be big because there's a big underlying movement in just about every major city in the U.S. that's totally untapped," he tells AVN On The Net.
He says he got his foot in the erotic photography door by being a niche artist in the first place, and he strives above all to keep his viewers guessing to a certain extent.
"Every time I shoot I try to make a different style and different models," the Imagemaster says. "So there's a lot of photographers where I can see their work but I can say that's this guy or that's somebody else, (but) when someone looks at my stuff they don't necessarily say that's the Imagemaster, because I have so many different types of styles."
