Sex Court In Real Court Accused of Cybersquatting

The question before the judge is, whose Sex Court is it - Playboy Enterprises, or a hardcore porn site's?

Playboy took the Website to federal court accusing the Website of cybersquatting a its cable television show of the same name, which features adult star Julie Strain as a skimpily-dressed judge hearing people's sex complaints. But Sexcourt.com owner Mario Cavaluzzo says he adopted that name well enough before Playboy did, according to Newsday.

Playboy Enterprises wants an injunction against Sexcourt.com, Newsday said, while Cavaluzzo - who has been in the adult Internet business since 1997 - wants $8.9 million in damages. Playboy claims the damage comes from consumers saying they thought Sexcourt.com was connected to the Playboy show, but Cavaluzzo's attorneys claim he had the operation up and running at least a few months before Playboy did.
