Extreme 2.0 has postponed shipping Oral Hygiene #3 upon discovering a minor glitch on DVDs of this specific title, which should have begun shipping yesterday.
The glitch was a small error that Black speculated happened sometime during the transfer to DLT, the last step before replication.
“Basically there was some kind of screw-up that caused a little glitch on the discs that kept popping up. One of my guys caught it the night before we were supposed to ship,” Rob Black told AVN.com. “And we decided to postpone the shipment because, unlike in the past, we’re being responsible. We’d like to apologize for the delay.”
The title has been re-authored and re-mastered, and will ship tomorrow for a July 15 street date. All distributors were notified immediately of the postponement of the shipment.
Black offered an apology on behalf of the "new, responsible Extreme."
