<I>Ice-T's Pimpin' 101</I> Covered By <I>The National Enquirer</I> Just in Time For Street Date

Ice-T's first adult video, which streets today, received some national exposure from supermarket tabloid National Enquirer this week.

In the March 18 edition, currently on newsstands, the Enquirer ran a full-page story on the controversial rapper's involvement in the making of Ice-T's Pimpin' 101.

Originally scheduled for a January releases, the Enquirer suggest that the reason Ice-T's Pimpin' 101 was delayed from it's original street date had nothing to do with production - but was because of contract negotiations with Law and Order: SVU, the NBC series that Ice-T plays a cop on.

"We're just seeing how big it is now," Frank Kay, IVD president, told AVN.com. " It's going to be our biggest seller ever without a doubt, hands down."

Though he doesn't take part in any sex, Ice-T hosts the entire project and gives the viewer the rundown of a pimp's life. Ice provides first-hand knowledge and shares his experiences from his past as a real-life pimp. According to the Enquirere, his fiancée, Nicole Austin, is shown topless in the beginning of the video.

Ice-T's Pimpin' 101 stars Rafe, Marty, Cherie, Celine, August, Obsession, Mr. Marcus, Guy DeSilva, Chloe Black, Sharon Wild, Ryan Connors and Mark Anderson.

The soundtrack of the project involves 14 original tracks and a star-studded line-up including performances by Ice-T and his group S.M.G, Busta Rhymes, M.O.P., Amil, Brand Nubian, S.M.G. and Dirty South. All formats of the project will include a bonus scene featuring a live performance by Ice-T himself.

IVD is already looking forward to working with Ice-T again in the future.

"We're looking a putting together a sequel and we've got a few other big, big, players that want to do something with us and Fatt. We have a few big rappers in mind," said Kay. Hardcore and softcore versions of the footage streeted in VHS, DVD, and sell-thru/smallbox formats today.
