Hustler Video Wins Top Selling Tape Award for Snoop Sequel

Larry Flynt accepted the AVN Award for Top Selling Tape of 2003 for Snoop Dogg's Hustlaz: Diary of a Pimp at the 21st annual show Jan. 10 at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.

In addition to the Top Selling Tape honor, Hustler Video's Snoop Dogg project also won Best Ethnic-Themed Video - Black. Meanwhile, Hustler's Barely Legal was awarded the honor of Best Vignette Series.

"There's no question adult entertainment and mainstream entertainment are merging and the line is blurred," Jimmy Flynt II, national director of marketing for Hustler, told AVN.com Monday. "You're going to see more of this type of product from Hustler and if you look at the industry as a whole, since the inception of Snoop's first tape, music and adult entertainment are becoming much more than we had ever hoped."

Flynt II said some of Hustler Video's best-selling products are music oriented, citing the Ghetto Booty series and the 2003 Best Ethnic-Themed Video, Liquid City, which featured Mystikal, as prime examples.
