BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Hustler Video has tapped Axel Braun to direct the company's latest TV parody, This Ain't Star Trek XXX.
"Hustler Video has spared no expense on this production," the company announced today in a press release. "LFP Studios is buzzing with construction of the lavish sets, which include a bridge complete with Captain's chair and the ship's intricate transporter room that reflect the spirit of 'Star Trek'. Every effort has been made to make sure that all costumes, props and makeup design parody the classic television show."
Hustler is now finalizing the cast, promising to showcase "some of the biggest names in the biz." Shooting is scheduled to begin March 31.
"Growing up as a kid in the '60s, I never dreamed I'd have the opportunity to see my favorite TV show convincingly re-created and taken to the next level," said Jeff Thill, director of video operationsfor LFP Video Group. "We all suspected what Captain Kirk was secretly up to—now we know."
