Hustler Video has signed starlet Mya Luanna as its newest contract performer. The exclusive, one-year contract will have Luanna doing 12 titles (24 scenes) for Hustler this year.
Luanna is originally from Thailand, and was studying in the United States to become a dental hygienist. However, exotic dancing caught her eye and eventually led her into adult. The Asian beauty did her first scenes in December of ’04, and had been in the business a little over a year before being approached by Hustler.
“[The people at Hustler] said that I had great sex appeal,” Luanna told AVN.com. “I was very excited to meet with them.”
Hustler founder Larry Flynt told AVN.com, “She’s young, innocent and beautiful. We’re happy to have her on board.”
Hustler in March took Luanna along with them to sign pictures and meet and greet fans at the National Show, an annual conference for the U.S. cable industry in Atlanta. Luanna said that the experience with the other Hustler girls was fun and drama free.
“It was a very interesting experience,” noted Luanna. “[The National Show] was obviously more conservative than adult conferences, and so that was something very interesting to experience.”
Along with the Thai starlet in Atlanta was Memphis Monroe, who signed on with Hustler as a contract performer in November. Monroe told AVN.com that she hopes to re-sign with Hustler, saying “it’s really been like a home to me.”
Monroe recently shot for the covers of Barely Legal’s September issue and Hustler’s October issue.
“I saw a lot of potential in Mya in Atlanta…the guys loved her there," Monroe said. "She’s going to be great for Hustler, I’m sure.”
Monroe recently starred in Larry’s Angels, which hit streets in late March, as well as the upcoming Back Woods of Memphis, which is set for release in July.
Luanna said she looks forward to touring with Hustler, as well as starring in several upcoming titles, including her first feature for the company under contract, the next installment of Richard Hamilton’s Hustler Exposed series.
