Hustler Video has released the first volume in a new series from Prague-based director Denis Marti called Riding the Curves.
The five-scene video features some rarely seen European talent such as box cover girl Veronica De Souza and XXX newcomer Debbie. Marti, who also directs the acclaimed ProfessiAnals line and Harder They Cum for Hustler, said he wanted this series to be about "voluptuous" girls.
"Because I think it represents my Italian background in a way. Italian and Latin girls are always kind of curvaceous," he told AVN Tuesday from his home in Prague. "So far this movie comes closer to my taste. It's kind of an interesting cast. This was the second scene for Debbie. She is a star of soft-core Internet content, and only did hardcore scenes for me."
He added that Da Souza only performs anal for him.
Marti said that unlike his other lines, he owns the rights to Riding the Curves, and Hustler is simply distributing for him. He actually performs in three scenes, an anal with Debbie, a boy/girl with Veronica Vanoza and a group scene with Da Souza, Lucy Love and Claudia Rossi, along with Jazz Duro. Sandra DeMarco and Victoria complete the female cast.
"All these girls have beautiful legs, beautiful asses, beautiful breasts, face, eyes, the lips," Marti said. "I always try to shoot in a way that you see all of the girl. I want to show their beauty as much as possible."
Marti gave special attention the girls' wardrobe, selecting it himself for this volume. The director said that he has become more comfortable behind the camera in recent months.
"Now I'm more relaxed about the technical side, I'm more confident," he explained. "I can experiment more with the sex. I'm still finding my way. I never get extremely hardcore. It's not my taste. I agree very much with people like Jonni Darkko, where I'm interested more in showing beautiful girls enjoying sex, enjoying their bodies and doing things that come naturally, not a circus act."
Meanwhile, Marti told AVN that he was in the process of shooting the second edition of Riding the Curves, and is also anticipating the March release of The Porn Identity in which Hustler contract star Jessica Jaymes performed with him in Italy.
