Horny Terrorists? Coded Porn Found In Terror Cell

Computers seized from a Milan mosque turned up "a trove of pornographic photos" investigators think were used to hide coded messages traded between al Qaeda cell members prior to the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, ABC News reported May 9.

Investigators say pictures of the World Trade Center were saved in temporary files on a computer in the Via Quaranta mosque frequented by Abu Saleh, on trial in absentia for international terrorism, the network reported.

ABC said court papers from the ongoing trial cited in the Italian press say police found those images as well as large quantities of porn and images of world leaders - including President Bush, Secretary of State Colin Powell, and Palestinian Authority president Yasir Arafat.

The images' colors were modified before being sent back onto the Internet, investigators told the press, and ABC said police think it was one way al Qaeda cell members communicated.
