Disgraceland and The Jackie Factory will turn Crobar into hooker-central tonight as they open the doors to the 2004 5th Annual Hooker’s Ball, with the catchy tagline, “Hookers of the Heartland Unite: Welcome Republicans.”
Paul Alexander, Hattie Hathaway and Chi Chi Valenti will host the party.
With DJs Johnny Dynell, Larry Tee and John John Battles spinning the labels, the event will feature notables such as burlesque-diva World Famous Bob, Jessica Rabbit, House of Domination, Amber Ray and Viva Domination, Big Daddy, Kelly Webb, Dirty Martini and the Swedish Housewife.
Disgraceland is the left-of-center, counter-culture anecdote to New York's run-of-the-mill nightlife hosted by Larry Tee, Josh Wood, and GBH.
Guests are asked to dress in red, white and blue “hooker looks, punk patriot, Ann Coulter realness, pimp eveningwear or streetwalker chic.”
There will be a $250 cash prize and trophy for the Great American Pimp N’ Ho Costume Competition in the following categories: Star Spangled Mack Daddy Pimp Couture and Patriotic Showgirl Hooker Glamour.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the New York Civil Liberties Union. Doors open at 10 PM and most importantly it’s open bar from 10 PM to 11 PM. It’s free admission to the party by dropping a line to [email protected].
