Homegrown Video, Brickhouse Announce Mobile Deal

Wireless solutions provider Brickhouse Mobile announced details of a five-year agreement with Homegrown Video to develop, distribute, and sell mobile phone content and services worldwide.

Homegrown content will be available for consumers as a monthly subscription or a la carte. Original wallpapers, videos, and voice tones will be created featuring some of Homegrown’s favorite performers. New video, along with catalog content, will be available worldwide by late summer.

Homegrown’s website will direct existing customers to a newly created WAP site. Access also will be available through both Java and BREW applications on authorized carrier decks throughout the United States and in international markets.

Brickhouse Mobile and Homegrown Video are working with industry associations, carriers, and governmental organizations to ensure all the content available through the offerings complies with current U.S. and international standards. In addition, Brickhouse Mobile will help Homegrown Video to implement a variety of techniques that will ensure that content can be viewed only by an age-appropriate audience. Age verification will include the use of a credit card and user information registration via the Homegrown Video-branded website and WAP site.

“Homegrown Video is an institution within the adult industry,” says L.R. Clinton Fayling, president of Brickhouse Mobile. “They have a very large appeal in both domestic and international markets, and we look forward to extending their community through wireless development.”

“Brickhouse is working with the best in the industry, and we are honored to be part of the roster for their mobile content offerings,” says Farrell Timlake, president of Homegrown Video. “Brickhouse is bringing the Homegrown Video brand even farther into the worldwide marketplace; we look forward to a long and profitable relationship.”

Brickhouse also has developed mobile content offerings for other industry leaders including Wicked Pictures, New Frontier, and Falcon Studios.
