The Video Software Dealer Association's Home Entertainment 2004 will be bigger than last year’s event, with an exhibitor’s floor being added to accommodate clients who sell store accessories.
Home Entertainment, the annual video industry trade show that brings both mainstream and adult content producers together with retail representatives from across the nation will be held at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada for the second straight year.
The exhibitor’s floor, which is being reintroduced after a two year-hiatus, when the concept was retired for the exhibitor’s suites model established in 2002, will host makers of store accessories such as tanning beds and vending machines.
As content producers, adult exhibitors will be found in the exhibitor’s suites section of the show and will not be found on the floor.
"Home Entertainment 2004 continues to offer more business and networking opportunities to exhibitors and attendees," said Bo Andersen, president of the VSDA. "The exhibitor suite format is ideal for deal-making and networking. The seminar program attracts some of the sharpest minds in the business. The re-introduction of an exhibit hall has been met with enthusiasm from new companies and non-programming suppliers who want to make their mark and enhance their presence."
The theme of this year's show is “Evolution and Transformation.”

All Access badges are $345 for VSDA members and $395 for non-members prior to the June 18 cut-off date. Exhibits and Conference badges are $95 for VSDA members and $145 for non-members prior to the June 18 cut-off date. After June 18, All Access badges are $425 for VSDA members and $475 for non-members and Exhibits and Conferences badges are $125 for VSDA members and $175 for non-members.
All Access badges provide entry to sponsored events, the opening ceremony, seminars, exhibit suites, and exhibit floor. Exhibits and Conferences badges provide entry to the seminars, exhibit suites, and the exhibit floor only.
