Veronica Browning, known to the adult industry as Holly Landers, was killed on New Years Day, 2003 after a collision with a drunk driver just outside San Jose, Costa Rica. rnrn
Browning was celebrating New Year's with her fiance and friends at the time of the accident. The cause of death was reported as internal bleeding, a result of the accident. rnrn
" We will remember her as she was, full of life, free spirited, and a personality that attracted positive influence with everyone that she encountered. Her two daughters will also remember their loving mother that was always working hard to provide only the best for them," her brother said in an email to AVN.com.rnrn
Browning had appeared in approximately thirty adult projects during approximately three years in the adult industry. rnrn
" Holly was a porn girl that you love having on the set. She was having a good time there and she didn't bring any headaches to the set. She always had fun on the set. She was very genuine," remembered director Jim Powers, who worked with her on two videos for JMP. rnrn
Johnny Thrust, who knew Browning both professionally and personally recalled her as a woman who was trying to best she could to raise two children. "She was very genuine, a sweet person, very human," said Thrust. "She was on and off again in the industry because she was trying to go to law school. That was her goal - she wasn't in porn to get money for drugs or anything - she was trying to better herself so she could provide for her children." rnrn
Her family intends to bury her at sea and request privacy in their time of grief.
