Hilton Helps Nab Home Invasion Suspect

When the LAPD arrested Darnell Riley last year for burglarizing and attacking Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis in 2004, it wasn’t revealed just who helped give the crucial tip to nabbing the suspect.

It was Paris Hilton who told police that she overheard Riley and another man admit their involvement in that case, according to Page Six of the New York Post.

Riley, 28, was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years and eight months in prison after pleading guilty to charges he robbed Francis at gunpoint and extorted money from the video producer during a home invasion robbery at his Bel-Air mansion.

Riley bound Francis with duct tape and forced him into sexually explicit positions, forcing him say humiliating things into a video camera. He then threatened him with putting the images on the Internet unless he paid him $500,000.

Police later found Riley’s fingerprints on the duct tape used in the crime. They also found a number of tapes featuring raw footage of the Girls Gone Wild video series at the suspect’s home along with a $6,000 Rolex watch belonging to Francis.
