CHICAGO– Hillary Scott and Sex Z Pictures have parted ways just a little over two years into the five year exclusive performance and directing contract the multiple AVN Award winning performer signed in 2007.
“We both wanted to change our focus,” Scott told AVN from her Chicago home. “Sex Z wanted to scale down their movie productions and I obviously wanted to work more and make some great scenes for my fans to see.”
The split with SexZ Pictures was mutual and Bo Kenney, CEO of SexZ.com, wished Hillary well moving forward. “We wish Hillary all the best in the future. She made some ground-breaking movies with us that the fans absolutely love.”
Scott turned in several outstanding scenes for Sex Z and picked up an AVN Award for Best Actress – Video for her work in the Sex Z feature Corruption in 2007, the same year she was honored as the Female Performer of the Year.
Although she enjoyed directing for Sex Z, Scott plans to concentrate on performing for the moment. “I’m focusing on performing right now and I plan to get some awesome hardcore scenes out there for my fans.”
She intends to continue living in Chicago and commute to Los Angeles for select scenes as necessary. “I have obligations here in Chicago. I’ve made a home here and I’m comfortable with that,” Scott said.
“Plus, I’m going to be more selective about the jobs that I take than I was before I was under contract. So I’m only going to do a couple of scenes every month.”
Scott is booking her own movie shoots. “I’ve been a free agent for just a few days and I’ve had some phone calls and emails from producers already and I’m already trying to finalize a schedule.
“I’m really ready to work again and look forward to getting DPd,” she joked. “I just committed to X-Play's Flight Attendants which I expect to be a lot of fun to make as all of their movies are.”
