Online adult personals community Website Eroticy.com announced their second affiliate payout increase of 2004.
Webmasters may now choose from either a pay-per-email-address program or a pay-per-signup program. On the pay-per email plan, Webmasters earn $3 per female, $2 per couple, and $1 per male email address. On the pay-per-signup plan, Webmasters earn up to 80 percent of the revenue generated on the sale as well as all future renewals. High second tier commissions are also offered to entice those interested in affiliate brokering.
"The response we received after the initial re-launch of our affiliate program has been phenomenal," said Eroticy.com director of operations Michelle Pendenza in a statement. "We were met with some skeptics who thought we could never pay out what we promised; however, word-of-mouth from all of our satisfied affiliates has eliminated the skepticism. We are raising the payout amounts again in efforts to become more competitive in the affiliate market."
"About four months ago Eroticy started paying $1 per email address and up to $80 per signup," vice president of commerce and service Kristi Mitchell told AVNOnline.com. "The latest increase, which provides a greater incentive for Webmasters to drive women and couples to our site, has been in place for three weeks now. We've seen a huge increase in female-focused sites partnering up with us and the amount of revenue they're earning off of our program has been amazing."
What inspired the new payout increase?
"We watch the Webmaster affiliate market very closely and listen to the information Webmasters share with us," said Mitchell. "We realized that Webmasters are becoming increasingly frustrated with lower payouts, fewer options, and dwindling conversions, which is likely driven by tighter credit card restrictions, increased marketing regulations, and heightened competition. This has created an opportunity for us to really embrace the market and provide a winning solution.
"The most recent payout increases truly represent the partnership attitude we have been known to take with our Webmasters," she said. "We're paying $2 per couple email address and $3 per female email address because those are the registrants that are more valuable to us as an adult dating site. This gives our partners the opportunity to target that traffic toward us and be rewarded accordingly. Then, they can target other traffic to other partners that might be more valuable to them. The name of the game in our online marketing is targeting to maximize value and that is exactly what we're providing the incentive to do."
